About Us

On our family farm in Upstate New York we raise a hand full of beef cows, a milk cow, a few pigs, some chickens, meat birds, turkeys and a few horses along with five kids. Every spring we have to deal with the manure which is the byproduct of all of our animals. Over the years, folks have asked us for manure to put in their gardens and we were happy to share this them. We would give them a lesson on how to use it properly, and more often than not, they would come back complaining that they ended up with weeds. And oh boy, the smell! Okay, they weren't really listening... So thinking about this, we thought of the idea of making tea bags and all one would have to do is steep it and use it. It really is as simple as that! We raise healthy animals on our farm. They all have plenty of room to do their thing. We use no antibiotics, no GMO feed, or any other unhealthy things like pesticides or fungicides. Therefore, we have healthy manure to age, dry, shred and pack into our bags. This is time consuming for us but the result is that we can offer a natural soil conditioner to use on your plants that won't produce weeds nor does it smell.
